Prepare Walls and Floor
Preparation is the key to success in all aspects of life and tiling is no different. All walls should be clean, dry and primed before any work commences.
Waterproof Room
The room is then waterproofed. As a policy we will always apply at least two full coats of waterproofing. Should the area need a third this is done at no extra cost to the client. At Tile Right our waterproofing comes with a full 6 ½ year warranty, for you own piece of mind.
Lay Sand and Cement
On many renovations it is necessary to lay a sand and cement bed prior to tiling. Not only will this concrete bed protect your waterproofing but it will also allow the installation of a frameless and semi frameless shower screen, leaving you with a seamless transition between your shower and main bathroom floor.
Tile Floor and Then Walls
The next step is to tile your floor and then your walls.
Install Feature Tiles
We are now ready to install the feature tiles. These can really add the wow factor to a room.
Grout and Silicone Seal
Almost their now! The room is then grouted and silicone sealed. This finishing operation really does take some skill and attention to detail.
Shower Screen Is Now Installed
Finally the shower screen of your choice can be installed. While we do not provide this service we can certainly point you in the right direction.
